This tale begins with a group of beer-drinking friends living off the grid coming together to determine the depth of a hole. Mix in an egotistical Air Force officer who stumbles on a source of unimaginable power and the fun is just beginning!
The author, Joseph Hallett, weaves a deliberate slow-paced mystery filled with intriguing characters. Hallett crafts the narrative with rich details, authentic dialogue, and fully developed characters. The narrative flows smoothly, culminating in an unexpected plot twist.

Kevin Perkins, narrator, once again delivers a fascinating audio. Perkins has a knack for vividly bringing each character to life and making each situation realistic. He is highly skilled at mesmerizing the listener and thoroughly immersing the listener deeper into the narrative. His voice is consistent and carries the appropriate modulation and tempo.

This is an intriguing and exciting audiobook. I highly recommend it.

i loveð the way the stòry kept me iñvoled waiting to see what would happen next. Frank and his friends involvement with the hole, I enjoyed the way the writer had me engaged I couldnt stop listeninĝ. One of the best books I have listened to iñ a while.
