Entitled is the first joint biography of Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson by renowned royal biographer and literary agent, Andrew Lownie.

Packed full of extraordinary revelations, Entitled reveals the extent to which Andrew and Fergie’s lives are still deeply entwined. Drawing on four years of research, numerous FOI requests, and interviews with over a hundred people who have never spoken before, Andrew Lownie traces the lives of the late Queen’s second son and his ex-wife through their childhoods, courtship, marriage, divorce, careers, and royal and charitable activities.

Investigating the reality of their relationship, it assesses Andrew’s Falklands record, his business dealings, and reveals new details of how the couple have been able to financially sustain their extravagant lifestyles. It also delves deeper into links with Jeffrey Epstein, which began earlier, continued longer, and were much more frequent than reported.

Generally, I learned nothing new. Both Andrew and Sarah are damaged grifters; always have been and will likely continue to be such. The book does delve into nitty gritty details, and the financial graft was broader than I knew, but not broader that my imagination. The book is fine, but given my general knowledge of the pair, far from gripping.

Nothing New But More Detail

A lot of the information was rehashed, but it was necessary background in order to get context

Only the last two chapters were incredible but worth the price of reading

I thought the content of the book was very enlightening but the narration was horrendous. If I hadn’t followed the royal family for years, I never would have gotten through it. The most glaring offense to me was the mispronunciation of Virginia Giuffre’s name. It’s pronounced with a soft G, not a hard G. For someone whose story was so entwined in the books subject, the author most certainly have pronounced it correctly. Also the cadence of his voice was so annoying. His voice went up and down in volume and you could clearly hear him taking large breathes of air before starting a sentence. Just because you write a book doesn’t mean you need to narrate it also.

How many cover ups!

Never realized how corrupt Sarah and Andrew were! They were both very greedy and entitled!
