What a satisfying ending for these characters. I was pleasantly surprised by a few revelations that happened in this book, and not all my guesses were right, which always leads to a more interesting story. The author did a wonderful job closing off the story for our two main characters for this series, but allowing room for new stories for many of the others. It was refreshing to learn that no matter how old the families are, siblings still bicker but come together when needed. I'm glad the story ended the way it did. The author did such a fantastic job throughout the whole series that the satisfaction of finishing the series is with me.

“I decide what happens to me, not you, not anybody,” Ryn said vehemently. “I am not owned by anyone. Especially not you.”
