This was a solid story like the rest, but not quite as action packed. I started this book rolling my eyes at the stupidity of how most of the people acted, and while I can overlook the new characters mistakes, I can't understand how Ed and Jean could be so dumb after overthing they've already been through. Overall this book kept me intrigued though, and I would look forward to reading more about the whole Mud Island family, hopefully with some new mutated creatures to go along with them! Performance was solid.

reading a book based in my home town of watkins glen. listening to as I drive by the things and places describe in the book is amazeing and scary waiting for a zombie in to get me at the lake 🤣

I love his writing style, as well as the characters through each book. The stories from each characters perspective is something that keeps the series engaging, while still keeping the same underlying storyline.
