When Ashen heads east to New York City to find Finn's brother, she finds herself confronted by an entirely new set of problems.

The city is a war zone overshadowed by the Behemoth, the largest arcology in existence. Few are allowed entry and those who go in never leave. At first, Ashen assumes the power structure is one she knows well: directorate vs. dregs, wealthy vs. poor.

She's seen this fight before and she knows how to win it.

She soon discovers that the power in New York is held entirely by one young man. Known only as the Bishop, he's mysterious, unnervingly handsome, and smooth-voiced. His allure is undeniable, despite his tendency toward cruelty.

But as Ashen gets to know him, she begins to question how he managed to gain so much power at such a young age. Who is the Bishop really? And where did he come from?

The even more mysterious question is...

What exactly goes on inside the Behemoth?

THIS STORY IS EDGE OF YOUR SEAT EXCITEMENT! AND IS VERY UNIQUE IN ITS WAY OF A STORYLINE. NARRATOR DID A FANTASTIC JOB!

FALLEN TO A ENEMY

Probably one of my favorite books yet in this series! Not what I was expecting and can’t wait to read book 5!

Twist and turns

Enjoyed the unexpected twists. Less edgy than the others, but still a real good read!

Interested in the next Book in the series

This was a better book than the second and third to be honest, the twists were well done and very pleasant to see, the world building was also better done. Lack of plausibility is still rampant but this is ya dystopia we are talking about, I also don’t like that all the books are ending the same way so the cliff-hanger effect they are going for is not giving anymore.

Better

This one was so very tedious. How many times and how many ways can Ash describe Bishop, wonder about Bishop, wonder why she feels so connected to Bishop, wonder why she's so happy helping Bishop. Did the author need to meet a word count? Did I miss a book? I don't think so. In the last one, Finn was doing battle with himself but that wasn't mentioned at all. This was just endless words about Bishop.

Also the narration of Bishop's character was god-awful.

Tedious. Done with this series
