I really enjoyed the whole book. It was fun and witty. There was even a subtle DCC Easter Egg reference which was great.

This book was absolutely amazing to me. There were times I literally said “I swear if he messes this choice up” and the MC delivered making logical choices. Well at least as far as skill development, the MC overall makes wonderfully terrible decisions which make the story amazing.
Characters are well written, system is great, narrator found their stride, and the humor was amazing.

Think DCC with a little less grimness, or HWFWM but the MC is way more likable.
