"I can explain." That's what everyone says when they're caught breaking the law.

City Council Commissioner Sloane Bishop is a murderer.
I don't think she meant to kill her abusive ex.
But when I walk through the door, he's breathing his last.
I was on my way to do the job myself; too bad she beat me to it.
Now the cops want to know what happened.
They're sniffing around and asking questions.
Sloane has a choice: marry me or go to prison.
After all, they can't make your husband testify against you...
It's a spousal privilege marriage of convenience.

Filthy Sinner is the third book in The Valenti Crime Family series, featuring a morally grey anti-hero that knows the only way to get what he wants is to break the law. Each book is a standalone and the series can be read in any order.

This is a dark mafia romance containing themes some readers may find unsettling. Caution is advised; unless you're throwing it to the wind. ;)

This gave me the ick, spoilers ahead. She was blackmailed by a man into sexual things and the main male character does the same exact thing to her before any kind of bond was made while knowing what happens to her. Then when he realizes he has feelings for her, he still there partying with his brothers for the weekend with strippers and while she’s at her bachelorette party she said she doesn’t want strippers. If you’re gonna write it for the guys then write it for the girl also!! it just seems very all about boobs in the face for the men and the women has to be good. While he is at his bachelor bachelorette party, he realizes he loves her but when they have a conversation after he tells her I like you and I could grow to love you so that’s why I wanna marry you like that’s not a happy ending. He does say he loves Her in the epilogue. Even a dark romance should give me a warm feeling at the end not only this book not give me a warm feeling it. Give me the ick through out most of it and I like dark romances. And good dark
romance has an alpha male but he’s all about his women.

Cold and detached
