Thoroughly enjoyed this story! Very compelling and the pacing was steady and strong. Loved the psi-elements and bonding concepts. The science was well done and intriguing.

I love the Firebird series and the Audible version did not disappoint! not sure why several reviewers struggled with the narrator. She wasn't my favorite, but she did a good job. I have downloaded and listened to over 100 books on Audible and the narrator is definitely above par. If you enjoyed the books when they were first released, you will enjoy this audio version

The story kept my attention even though the narration of the main character was a little annoying. I did speed it up a bit - that helped.

I just absolutely love this series. I've read most of her other books as well. she's a fabulous author. I wasn't particularly pleased with the voice actor they picked for the reading of the book but it didn't detract from the main story too much.
