And God told Moses, "And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt." Moses called for all the elders of Israel and educated them on God's word. Lambs were sacrificed, and their blood marked upon the two side posts of each Hebrew door.

But there was an Egyptian woman that also heard the words of Moses and her name was Pashera. Standing tall and slender with smooth olive skin, Pashera frequently visited the Hebrew marketplaces. Unlike other the Egyptian women, she did not mind being amongst the foreigners. One day while shopping for fruit in the market, she overheard the nervous whisperings of the Hebrews. Tonight, they believed a destroyer was coming for the first born of Egypt.

Pashera had witnessed the great plagues brought upon Egypt and feared the Hebrew God. Under cover of darkness, Pashera secretly sacrificed a lamb and marked her door as Moses instructed the Hebrews to do. She only had one child, a son named Barsa, and wanted to protect him from the wrath of this Hebrew God. Barsa's father was no longer with them, and Barsa was all she had left.

The way the first vampire was made was great, and explains a lot. My only thing is, its only 13 mins long. I could of spent hours in this story. After listening I told my wife about how the story told about the first vampire. It took 4 mins. But very glad I gave it a listen.

What a great way to bring to life a Vampire story.
