Mira needs to get home for the holidays - badly. But when an incoming blizzard results in a canceled layover, it looks like she might get stuck at the Philadelphia airport indefinitely.

And then Harper, Mira's glamorous seatmate from her initial flight, comes to the rescue. Harper and her three friends are renting a car, and they can drop Mira off on the way home. But as their trip begins, Mira discovers her fellow travelers aren't friends like she thought - they're total strangers. And every one of them seems to be hiding something dangerous.

Soon, Mira is in a panic. The roads have gone from slippery to terrifying. People's belongings are mysteriously disappearing. Someone in the car is clearly lying...and Mira begins to suspect that one of them is sabotaging the trip. If she wants to make it home alive, she'll need to uncover the truth about these strangers before this nightmare drive turns fatal.

it was a sweet and creepy tale, I enjoyed the personal growth and simultaneous fearful tension

mystery!

What a crazy ride. I binged the book. It’s hard to believe most of the book spans one crazy car ride. I've got to hand it to the author for pulling that off well.

I thought the book was better than the narrator was. I think with a different narration I would've given it 3.5-4 stars. I didn't love the ending, but I'm not sure what I would've liked better, so...

I did guess who the antagonist was but only just before the reveal. and I missed a few clues and had a few queens so at the end. All in all I'm happy I purchased/listened to it.

Great story but wasn't crazy about the narrator her voices lacked depth or expression but overall five stars

Really good

I love “who done-it’s” and this one was twisty. It felt like the story dragged on or that they were driving forever but it was a good story. It took awhile to get used to the narrator.

A very dysfunctional road trip

Would have given 5 stars if not for the ending which felt like it went way too fast. The story and build up were phenomenal and the character interaction was fun. The ending and finale itself was even good but it needed to last longer, it felt like once I was reading it that it was done within 20 minutes. But yeah overall really good book!

Great Story weak ending though
