This thriller from Susan May Warren was a bit of a departure for me. I’ve read many of her early works and enjoyed them, but time and circumstances have kept me way behind keeping up with all she has written.

Yes, I called it a thriller while others will rightly call it a romance. I think it’s both. While the emotional entanglements of past and present keep intertwining with the unfolding layers of drama that accompany the main characters, that ever present element of danger hangs with you through to the final pages.

Susan May Warren’s attention to details are much appreciated. The reader did a splendid job keeping all the characters unique.

If you like a bit of romance with a train wreck, a kidnapping with a ransom for national secrets, and an across mid-America fleeing from both the bad guys and the good...you just might be the person who will enjoy this novel.

This was my first Susan May Warren book.
The narrator was perfect for this book. I was caught up in it the minute I started listening. My only complaint is I wanted it to last forever! 😍

What made the experience of listening to Flee the Night the most enjoyable?

I have enjoyed all of Susan May Warren's books. This was a book I didn't want to put down. The relationship between Micah and Lacey is stressful but from the beginning you know they have very deep feelings for each other. Their flight keeps you on the edge of your seat and you can't wait for the bad guys to be caught and for their HEA. Great book.

Very Interesting and Exciting Book
