I never would have expected this read. A friend recommended this book and at first I was hesitant, I read a lot of reviews despite people saying you should go in blind. I was definitely still thrown for a loop in this book, so much anticipation for what's next. I'm looking forward to reading the rest, I can't imagine what's to come!

Okay, so I usually don't get behind book series that most people rave about. Several book groups I'm in talk about this series all the time. Usually I wind up sorely disappointed when reading a highly recommended series.

That was not the case with this one. I laughed, cried, and was jealous that people like this don't really exist in the world anymore. I think this may possibly be my most favorite book I've ever read.

Can't wait to finish the series, but also wish I could forget it so I can read it again for the first time.

Maxine and Joe were pure perfection. I've never heard narration like this book either. 🔥🔥🔥

I was very skeptical on reading this book. I've added and deleted this story from library plenty of times. I finally gave up and started to read it. Once I started I couldn't stop. This series had a choke hold on me and made me ugly cry, however I absolutely loved it.

This whiny, depressing story is well narrated. Well done sex scenes at least bring some light into the story. However, the big buildup to the ending, that isn't an ending, is frustrating.
