This is the second book in the series and it's as good as the first. Harper is good hearted underneath her though exterior but she's having problems with her new life in the witness protection program which landed her and her grandmother in a retirement village. Her older neighbor, Edie, drags her into another mystery.

The characters in this story are so much fun and the plot is unique and fast moving. No gore, just a lot of twists. The narration is also good.
