And i truly enjoyed it ! Yesss it’s ALOT of spice but i enjoyed it ! The storyline was also good to me and i enjoyed the characters a lot ! I tried the first book for free but will be buying the second one!!

I really enjoyed the story and listening to both a female and male narrator. I would definitely recommend to someone who likes a little bit of fantasty and a whole bunch of sexy romance. Just don’t listen to it around your kids ;)

it's hard to find a book with enough steamy content for my liking; this book dos that.

The blurb doesn’t tell you a lot so thank you to the reviews that gave a little more info. This is duet narration, so the male narrator reads the MMCs’ lines and the female narrator reads the FMC’s lines. This narration team is FANTASTIC and why I gave this book a chance, because I was worried about the TWs. But while the character dynamic is kind of toxic in the first part of the book, it was actually not as dark or difficult to listen to as I expected based on reading the TWs, so I guess they worked, because I felt well prepared. The thing I didn’t realize and I guess this is a *minor spoiler* is that at least the first half, maybe 2/3(?), takes place when the characters are 18, then jumps ahead 6 years and the story picks up there. All of the high school chapters are from the FMC’s POV, but you get the alphas’ POVs in some of the present day scenes.

To get my criticism out of the way first,... Where the heck are the trigger warnings for the audible book??!!! I mean, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, drug usage, kidnapping, graphic car accident with death, r!pe, attempted r!pe, depression, mental health issues... Yeah, emotional barely covers it and I cried more than once.
BUT, having said that, this book will either keep you hanging on or deleting it from your queue before you get to chapter 5. Most of the time I was struggling to decide if I was mad, disgusted, despairing for Charlie or turned on.
The narrators did a fantastic job. They didn't overact or go monotone. They are probably what kept me engaged for the whole book.
