I really enjoyed this series .I hope there is more to come. You have to be patient with the characters,but they do grow on you. Narration is perfect and makes all the difference in the world. Thank you

The depiction of child sexual abuse and long term damage to multiple interconnected individuals was too intense for me to finish. I have no complaint about the quality of the writing. The reader was quite good. It was just too disturbing for me.

it was difficult to keep all the characters straight since they have no relevance to the story until the end. Also all the characters but Ryland were unlikable, especially the main character.

These books seem like sleepy quiet detective stories. But there are deep questions. And moments of action they are really great. I am so looking forward to spending more time in this world.
