“In a word: Brilliant….It left me breathless and awed….Pure exhilaration from the first page to the last.”
—James Rollins, New York Times bestselling author of Altar of Eden

“WOW! Double Wow!...Ghost Country by Patrick Lee will make Asimov and Heinlein cheer with the angels. The techno-thriller meets Sci-Fi, and the result is mind-blowing.”
—Stephen Coonts, New York Times bestselling author of Disciple

Patrick Lee reinvented and revitalized the contemporary thriller with his extraordinary debut The Breach (“Audacious and terrifying” —Lee Child). Now his conflicted ex-cop/ex-con hero Travis Chase is back in the breathtaking follow-up Ghost Country. Both Michael Crichton and Dean Koontz fans, X-Files aficionados and devotees of FOX TV’s Fringe, will be blown away by Lee’s Ghost Country—a nightmarish tale of a nefarious plot unleashed at the highest levels of government that will bring about the end of everything in a matter of a few short months.

Ghost country is a fantastic story that gets it's hooks into you and never let's you go until the very final chapter. The suspense and build up is top notch. The twists, which started quickly don't let up until you think you know what has to come next, then they twist again and blow your mind .
enjoy the ride, I know I did.

As with the other books, loved this writing style, keeps you on the edge the whole time, and there's an amazing twist!

At first I wasn’t sure if I had made the right choice in selecting this book. But as the story built and grew I was pleasantly surprised where the story went as well the method of how we got there. It didn’t run as normally would expect it would though I thought the ending was a bit rushed as it concluded. Still, it didn’t disappoint as a story.

This was a great sequel to The Breach! I almost didn't read this book due to the negative reviews I read, but since I enjoyed The Breach so much I decided to give Ghost Country a try and am so glad I did. The reviews Ghost Country got on Amazon were much more positive and I have to agree. I thought the story was very well done. This book was action packed with a well thought out story. It was a true page turner and the story never let me down. My only disappointment was when the book ended because it was over. I highly recommend Ghost Country!
