Another great anthology by Kevin J. Kennedy! This is a collection of ghost stories written by some of the most up-and-coming indie horror authors. As with any group like this, there are some that resonated more than others. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I will mention a few that really stand out for me.

The very first story, Nine Lives, grabbed my attention right away. I am a cat lover, so this story revolving around 9 ghostly cats was perfect for me. The Autopsy was a creepy tale of a coroner and his encounters with ghosts. Then you have a tale of a bus rider who can't seem to figure out what's going, a horror filled roller coaster ride and a story told from the viewpoint of a house (very unique!).

The last story, My Dead Wife's Diary, was another that will stick with me for a long time. All in all. if you enjoy a great short horror story or just love the idea of ghosts, you will be sure to find a few that hit the spot for you.

The narrator for the audiobook was perfect and his performance added a lot to these tales.

Great ghostly collection!

I liked this. Each story, well narrated was enough in their own way. Hopefully there will be a Ghosts 2. Five stars.

I really enjoyed the stories featured in Ghosts. Whether you believe in them or not, they capture our minds. It begins with a non-traditional trope of animal spirits with Veronica Smith 's Nine Lives. It’s devastating to lose furry family members. As a believer, I hope they do watch over us when we need it. In the story, Erin is both comforted and irritated by the appearances of her past cats. But we find out it's a good thing they do.

My other favorite is Brian Moreland 's Red Celluloid. The part I like the most about "true" paranormal shows is the historical aspects of the hauntings. In this one, a paranormal detective is hired by the grandson of a WWII veteran who owned a movie theater. War and PTSD haunt both the living and the dead. It’s a powerful short story.

The anthology ends with incredible grief horror story from James Kaine called My Dead Wife's Diary. From beyond the grave, the main character's wife speaks to him through her diary revealing so much, including a mystery. He knows their marriage wasn't perfect, and how he blames himself for being a workaholic as well an alcoholic. I liked the emotional aspect and how all of the puzzle pieces fit in the end.

All of the stories in this anthology are amazing and I highly recommend it!

Loved It!
