The Gift of the Witch is a short but sweet book with a little bit of bad luck.
For Clay and Addy, one of Keating Hollow’s original couples, things are not going very well. Ruined batches of beer, an accident and an unexplained illness has them on edge.
I love revisiting the lives of couples from previous books. It’s like catching up with old friends.
I highly recommend this book and Gabra Zackman was amazing as always.

Keating Hollow is such a magical town. And it is great to be back with the characters who started it all, Abby and Clay. I suspect in the next several novellas Deanna Chase will focus on the other Townsend sisters and how their lives and loves have progressed since their focus in the original series. Deanna has done some beautiful and subtle world building. And her character development and relationships are unmatched. Gabra Zackman is a creative and talented narrater. It truly is magical listening to this entire series and know exactly who is speaking at any given moment. It makes these amazing stories pure joy to listen to.

This is a great follow up to see how the Happily ever after is working out for Abby and Clay. Abby wants to start making some new brews and there is an accident at the brewery so it was now or never for her experiments.. I love that we get to revisit Abby and Clay and even though they are in the other books I love this series, it’s nice to see them in the spotlight again. I love Gabra Zackman's take on these characters! Great narration!

What a great short story! I loved that we were able to return to Abby and Clay and get a bigger update on their life together. As they are living their happily ever after, a series of unfortunate events begin to happen. Just bad luck or a curse? This book entertains and keeps ypu guessing. Gabra Zackman did a fabulous job bringing this story to life!
