After years of mourning his late wife, Kross is finally ready to open his heart to love. There is only one man standing in the way of him having the freedom to love without worrying about looking over his shoulder. Fortunately, he happens to be in the right place at the right time. In order to live happily ever after with the woman who captivated him at first glance, this bad boy had to leave his past life of crime behind. Unfortunately, he has to resort to his old ways to ensure both their safety.

Janelle spent too many years being angry with her father. An unexpected crisis makes her regret losing so much time with him. Will she use that newfound wisdom to embrace the love that Kross has for her, or will her trust issues cause her to push him away? Once the smoke has settled, everyone shares a common interest in keeping what happened that night from ever getting out, but at what cost?

A gunshot? A heart attack? In Giving Good Love to a Bad Boy, we were left with questions that needed to be answered.

I like this book. It built on book 1 with a whole lot more drama, suspense, and emotional bonding. Kross was already open with sharing his feelings for Janelle, but in this book he showed it. The man literally cried between her thighs in the middle of the night because he felt something he didn't think he would feel again. She was his world! Janelle insecurities showed towards the end, but I think she was right to feel a way. She over did it by jumping out of his card in the middle of the street. When Kross divulged his background and all the work that hill put in to Janelle, she was like wtf, lol. I loved the surprise wedding and all the fellas. Great read all around.

Both books are excellent and well worth the read. I love the way Kross seems so genuine and I fully understand Janelle's hesitation towards love.
Kross's mom and brothers are hilarious. I love the dynamic between them.
There's nothing quite like a reformed thug with a big heart.

What’s done in the dark always comes to light, and this story showed that beautifully. I truly believe transparency and good communication are the foundation of any healthy relationship. Sometimes we think we’re protecting someone by keeping things from them, but in reality, that can harm the relationship more than help it. I loved how the characters worked through those struggles and still found their happy ending.

This book was also a reminder that sometimes you have to love people through their hangups and their pain, because if you don’t, you might miss out on something truly special. Healing and wholeness are so important not just for yourself, but so you can accept and maintain real love when it comes your way.

I simply must say that I enjoyed this book. It was a bit more than I expected but I loved the honesty between Kross and Doc. Good or bad, better or worse, that’s the way love goes. Narrators were great as well. ❤️
