The FMC has such a big heart that it makes her sooooo stupid. I just don't understand why a grown woman who has lived on her own by her wits and hid her power so well makes so many stupid decisions.

I STRONGLY suggest waiting for the next book to come out before you listen to this one. I just finished it and I haven’t been this frustrated and infuriated… and just plain pissed off by a book ending in a long time.

Great series and this book fits right in. However, there is a missing chapter, which should have been between Chapters 2 and 3. Chapter 2 ends in the start of a meeting with the Corporation. Chapter 3 begins with the meeting over, and Loralei recapping conversations made at the meeting, and later, references to a subsequent cocktail party. Though you can get by without the missing pieces, details of the cocktail party are repeatedly referred to throughout the book, including in the grand finale, as if the reader would understand in hindsight. Clearly, the author intended it to be part of the mystery.

It should be a rule. All books that leave on a cliff hanger with no next book should have a warning!!!!! Also this book wasn’t that long the author could have easily finished the book. authors who write books just so you’ll have to buy the next frustrates the crap outta me!

Argh!!! Do not read unless you want to wait for an end that should have already been written.
