Hammer is gruff, stern, mad at the world because of his situation. Desirae is a sassy spitfire who turns his world upside down and brightens it up. They have a push and pull thing going on. Their chemistry is palpable even though they are fighting it. This was an exciting, endearing, frustrating, heart breaking, and at the same time heartwarming ride to go on with them. I love this series.
Narration was fantastic. Lucy Rivers and Joe Arden did an excellent job bring this thrilling story to life.

I liked the beginning of the story it gave us a quick glimpse of his life before his accident and picks up where it ended in Ice’s story. MMC was always angry, felt sorry for himself and didn’t want anyone to see him as less than a man.
He was such an ass**** to the FMC when he had bar flies comeback to his bed while recovery and didn’t care the FMC was there or would hear. Condoms use for protection is great but what about oral - walking STDs.
FMC witnessed her sister’s murder and was a physical therapist treating the MMC. She was also under Regulator’s MC protection until the mystery is solved and the killer is captured. Low drama, no angst, very little violence, no cliffhanger and HEA. If there is a thumb drive where is it & who has it? Not solved.
Dual narrators were great.

Hammer & Des

If Susie was ****** because they “thought” she had a flash drive, then they went after Des for the same item. If Des had the item and knew what was on it, (especially after seeing what happened to her sister), she’d have used it to leverage her freedom...that plot point didn’t make sense to me. What’s on the flash drive and who has it?
