Secret of the Red Arrow

Something is not right in Bayport.

After a series of unfortunate (yet harmless) pranks, it looks like Frank and Joe have caught their suspect surprisingly early. Their classmate Seth Diller has taken his love of filmmaking a bit too far. But shortly after Frank and Joe confront Seth, there are fresh outbreaks of Seth-like pranks. Except these aren’t as harmless. After a bit of investigating, the Hardy Boys uncover evidence of the Red Arrow—a group that will stop at nothing to bring chaos and crime to Bayport’s peaceful existence.

In the most dangerous case they have ever taken on, it’s up to Frank and Joe to find the Red Arrow—before it finds them first.

Mystery of the Phantom Heist

Frank and Joe track down violent pranksters.

Rich girl Lindsay Peyton is throwing the biggest and best Sweet Sixteen bash that Bayport has ever seen. But her party planning is off to a bad start when Frank and Joe discover that someone has keyed her very expensive car—an early birthday present—and has put the mean prank up on YouView.

Soon after the prank goes viral, a group calling themselves the Scaredevils begin to film themselves committing acts of violent vandalism around town. Broken windows, Dumpster fires, and more threaten the security of Lindsay’s party—and of Lindsay herself.

Frank and Joe are determined to figure out who is the mastermind behind the videos before Lindsay’s Sweet Sixteen turns into a party she will never forget…for all the wrong reasons.

moronic plot where boy robs a bank as a 'prank' gets caught but only charged with ctlriminal mischief. the whole thing is so stupid and filled with holes, why did one brother randomly walk down an alley to a bank so he could be forced into helping with the bank robbery? How did the robbers/prankster know he would be there? I don't care actually, the whole thing is stupid and impossible and the kid gets suspended from school for 3 days and a criminal mischie charge. that wouldn't happen in the US today.
Voice bounces back and forth between the brothers who try to explain they were hot detectives but retired but not really. Even though the narrative tries to paint t hem as smart the come off as dumb as rocks.
What do I do to get a refund?

Modern and revised; deceptive! As a parent looking for classic fun literature I don’t appreciate the revisionist version of the originals. Don’t assume anything these days or assume the worst. Who wants their kids listening to this garbage? The originals are great, We will stick with those!

Not the Hardy Boys I’m looking for.
