The sky was ablaze with shooting stars. Everyone had marveled at the sight, but as Zack Dyer watched and wondered what they meant, he heard a voice telling him why they had appeared. He suddenly knew what they signified and that he had been chosen to lead the faithful away from here to a place where they would be safe from what was to come. He must show them the path to a haven from destruction.

Very much enjoy, the westerns of CJ Petit I have presently read all but one of the books that he has published so far and other than some of them having somewhat sad endings within the context of the story I love every single one of them I live in the part of the world that he talks about in his books and so I don’t have to imagine them I can see them just by driving a few miles here in Wyoming. So this author has the geographic placement of a L’amour western with so much more he gets into the life that women had in the west, which was rough. A woman in the West at this time had very little she could to. It was deadly serious to find “a good man”. And what I particularly enjoy is the inclusion of the telegraph. It was so important and very few western authors include that in their stories.

What a great Story! The story has two unordinary Hero’s, beloved Characters and a deranged prophet that believes the world is ending. This book is one of my very favorites. What I love most about CJ Petit’s stories is they have a no-nonsense or non-lingering flow and are always straight to the point. The beautiful love story he weaves -is enough to capture the readers or listener’s imagination.

Michel Alan White is a Pro narrator and, character performer! Michael Alan White’s “Nope!” should be legendary. I love his voice but his Nope! Is special and reminds me of the way my grandpa spoke. I’m not sure what going to happen once all CJ Petits books are put on Audio and there will be no more of these awesome stories. It’s going to be a real sad day for me.
