My name is Officer Thomas Nolan, and I am a saint. I can smell evil. I show mercy to the lesser criminals - the desperate. Even those I've put behind bars seem to like me. But now there's a serial killer bringing darkness beyond imagination to my city. I can smell his stench a mile away. But how can I prove it? How do you do forensics on a killer possessed by a demon?

It was like a Catholic supernatural version of a Raymond Chandler crime novel. If that sounds interesting to you, then I recommend you read it.

I heard this in 2 days! I had a long trip and was enthralled in the storyline. As retired NYPD/SSD I found the police procedures correct and the character development most enjoyable. I highly recommend.

Can't wait to read/listen to the rest of the story! Some demons & catholicism alongside urban fantasy. Declan whips up a hell of a tale and narrated by a sinfully awesome voice!

Great story! Great characters! Great narration!

I read books by conservative authors, liberal authors, socialist, authors, and everything in between. I enjoy a good military focused urban fantasy or a politically inclined sci-fi. But this was so far right-wing propaganda that it made it almost unlistable. The actual concept was very interesting which is why I purchased the book, but when every character that wasn't a good Catholic was a parody worse than what you might see on Fox News, it became unbearable.Tthis may be attractive to some readers and if so, great! But this is not one for anyone that values a good story over politics.

Poorly disguised extreme conservative propaganda
