Where does a Demon go when she gets deported from Hell? Kentucky. Eden, Kentucky, to be more specific - where nothing is exactly as it seems.

My name is Dixie. I'm a Demon - a lousy Demon. I'm a 21-year-old virgin, and I have a battery-operated boyfriend. My magic is iffy at best and downright dangerous at worst. Leaving Hell to represent my race is not high on my list of things to do. Hell was exact. Hell was simple. All I want to do is get to home base with the hotter-than-Hades Demon of my dreams and work on my dark side so Satan, my dad, will get off my ass. Instead I end up in Kentucky looking for the Balance of Chaos, avoiding pole dancing classes with Mother Nature, and finding out my invisible friend is a silver-skinned destructive weather pattern. And if that isn't craptastic enough, the damn Sword of Death is missing again, and whoever has it wants the King of the Underworld dead. Seriously.

With new powers emerging daily, keeping my Demon side, horniness, and general disgust under wraps doesn't make it any easier to fit in with the humans. Thankfully my priorities are in line: get laid...save world...try not to blow up kitchen appliances...and get laid again. I am ready to rumble. All I want to do is go back to Hell, but with the balance of good and evil in my hands, I'm stuck in the Garden of Eden. Oh well, what the Hell. Someone has to save the world before there's no world left to save. Might as well be me.

This is such a fun book; this is the third book in the Fashionably Dead: Hot Damned series written by Robyn Peterman and narrated by Amanda Ronconi. Once I started listening to it I didn’t want to put it down until the end. This book is great, it is laugh out loud funny. Dixie is a demon who has been deported from Hell and ends up in Eden, Kentucky. She left Hell to represent her race looking for the Balance of Chaos. The book is full of insane and hilarious characters.

The narrator Amanda Ronconi did a great job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with great characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

LOVED It!

To be honest I read a lot and I also write. And I have to say when I got the first book with its cartoon cover I was expecting it to be mediocre. Boy was I surprised. This series makes me laugh out loud so much so that people have been known to stop and stare. I just point to my phone and mouth Book. But I digress. We finally find out what type of Demond Dixie is an who her mother is. And there are some other things to tell. But I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. By the series you will not be sorry.

Hot Damned I'm loving this series!!!!

When I seen that this book had a new MC I wasn't sure but it was awesome. Dixie ended up being as bad ass as her cousin Astrid. This story is from the Hell perspective and did not disappoint. The narrator did a great job with the different characters and was perfect for Dixie. Can't wait for more with both MC's. Highly recommended.

but AR doesn’t have the range of other voice actors in the series. i Don’t like to be mean, i realllly don’t, so as just constructive criticism, she needs to work on it. honestly, she does a Lot of other series and she only has like, 2 voices that aren’t her usual speaking voice. she doesn’t differentiate between characters, male or female. she’s Not Bad, she’s just not great …
