This really takes you back. (The author’s N-Z audiobook is awesome, too, by the way). The author does a good job at touring you through 80s rock with lots of flair, entertainment, and humor. It’s full of energy and easy to digest. Fantastic way to relive some memories, learn stuff about bands you didn’t know, and take one of the most fun history lessons you'll ever take.

This audiobook was both funny and surprisingly informative. As a longtime fan of hair metal, it goes beyond the usual big names like Bon Jovi or Def Leppard and dives into bands you may have forgotten about, until that one hit comes on the radio. It covers bands that had brief moments of glory and even those still playing today, often in small clubs with only one original member. I’ve seen a few of these bands live over the years, and this listen brought back a lot of memories. It’s a fun, easy guide packed with facts and nostalgia for any true fan.

This book took me back to my high school days, which was such a fun time for music! This book is full of facts that brought back so many memories, I felt like I was reliving my teenage years. I loved hearing all the stories behind all the great bands and artists especially where they are now. It covers some of the biggest names and even a few bands I had completely forgotten about. The music trivia was really fun. I love the title because, it is spot on. Back then you could never have enough Hairspray. I absolutely enjoyed this from start to finish, such a fun listen!

Full of facts that brought back so many memories, So many great bands, and I loved all the facts about each band and artist. I found myself pausing the narration and going to Spotify to add music to my playlist.
