another book in the Ryder Creed series. Does not disappoint. Great story line. Joshua Mackey does a great job of telling it. He makes you feel like you can read their thoughts

If you love dogs and thrillers, this is a series you want to experience! For reasons I don't fully comprehend, any novel that features a great K-9 and handler is like kryptonite to me. I've loved service dogs since my early childhood when my grandfather took me to a police K-9 academy. One of my favorite memories.

But you want to know about the book and series... Creed's star Grace is the K-9 star again as she discovers a dumping ground in the forest that adjoins Creed's property. it's a brutal location with way more questions than answers as Creed and company set out to find all the graves and help law enforcement identify the victims. But the woods are dark and deep... and they've got miles to go before they sleep.

Readers who enjoy thrillers and suspense stories with engaging characters who feel genuine will enjoy this entire series. As will readers who love a good dog story- in the case of this series, there are many dogs, and they all have their day. This is a heartwarming read; sometimes angsty and emotional, yet always centered on pups and handlers. It's well-written and can be read out of sequence, so dive right in. But make sure you eventually catch up with the first book in the series when we first meet Grace, the little Wonderdog.

this was another excellent stort but there needs to be a Belgian Malinois in future books

I love all the characters of this series including the dogs, I just wish it didn’t take them so long after the hardcover releases to get the audiobook version out. We never even get a date.
