This is an emotional beautiful story. Two people who have tragic pasts trying to move forward. How protective and sweet Rubik was, was so swoon worthy. Especially how he was with Marie's daughter Hope. Both of their back stories broke my heart. Rubik is dealing with grief and justice. Marie is dealing with being attacked and moving forward. Their chemistry was off the charts! It was a heart gripping read. It's so good. And this narrator added to the magic of it. The way he portrayed the story made me feel like I was watching it unfold before me.

This book seemed to progress and the storyline unfolded rather quickly. Since this is an MC club book, there was lots of action but very little in the romance part.
Like the audible narrator! Would listen to him again- good choice
