The intricacies of the characters and the plot.

I can't pick. I love them all! I love how the guys and the neighborhood protect their own.

Yes and he is just fabulous. He never disappoints!

A great series as stand alone or group. This one has an alpha male and a real woman. Fun and sexy!

Well, well same song second verse. The Hero and Heroine start their relationship but, some bad dudes from her past show back up, in her life and the gang gathers around the couple to catch the bad guys. Again, Cherry, the Heroine, is emotionally scarred by the abuse she suffered as a teenager. Again, I was a bit disappointed that there was no mention of counseling. I just think it would add some realism to the plot if the victims of abuse sought counseling and healed, as a result. However, this is a work of fiction, so perhaps my opinion is wrong.

All in all, this book was better written and, even though the Heroine had some annoying hang-ups, the Heroine was a stronger person.

As always, Jim Frangione’s narration was spot on. Therefore, especially since the book is included in the romance package, it’s a worthy listen.

painful child abuse, torment, hard to hear. the 5 star is for how they overcame it, how much the group all loves each other and the fact that this book, mercifully, 2as full of something except s*x
