This book reflects the harsh realities of families affected by losing loved ones to war and the trauma those who survive live with. A sweet and spicy book about being open to love and healing from loss together. Although a separate subject from the author's original trilogy, her style of swoon worthy mmc and strong independent mfc show clearly in all the right ways. Im looking forward to whatever else she writes as this shows her range of talent.
