I have never been a fan. of romance dramas' so I hate giving it 3 stars. It was well preformed. And as I listened kept wondering why I bought this book.And it Just hit me. It was the dog.

A delightful story about a woman’s struggles as she ultimately gets her priorities straight. She tells the story with her thoughts as she’s thinking them. The stuff we’re always keeping under wraps. She’s a hoot.

I really enjoyed the synopsis. But I could not finish this book. i really tried . the narrator's Vocal Fry (it's a real term. Look it up) grinded on my ears and my nerves. She purref and growled thru the entire book. I didnt get past tge discovery of the daughter before I threw in the towel. i love stores with dogs in them. But I just can't.
