I absolutely love these books about Harry Grimm and his team. Has the perfect amount of crime and humor mixed in to each book!

This story was the perfect way to end 2025, a year in which I got to know DCI Harry Grimm.

This little book was a welcome antidote to the general malaise that seems to afflict the States at present. I very much enjoyed this reunion of many loved characters from the Grimm series. I recommend David J. Gatward’s books to anyone who enjoys rounded characters, a good, solid mystery, and lots of atmosphere that will make you want to visit “the Dales” asap!

I absolutely love this series. I have read them all except the very last one on the list which I will be listening to after this review! The narrator is perfect he is the voice of Harry Grimm! Don't change a thing. A wonderful book and I would recommend that whomever love crime drama with a touch of humour to either read or better yet listen as I said the narrator is fantastic.
