A mild mannered teacher's wife is found murdered, her body ripped to shreds in what investigators rule as an attack of wild dogs. Doing his own research, the teacher discovers that similar killings have taken place around the city around the time of the lunar cycle. He digs deeper and soon finds out that werewolves are real.... And now they're targeting him.

The story is well-written and never boring. So descriptive it felt like I was there!

Angel Clark did an immersive and awesome job as narrator!

I liked the idea of the story, I just didn't think that it was developed enough. Seemed a bit short and I felt like there was a lot of substance missing that would have made for a better story. I think this should have been 4 or 5 times longer with the characters more fleshed out and an ending that doesn't sneak up on you and hit you over the head before it ends. Angel Clark always provides great narration. I especially like how she is able to capture conversations between different characters and provide each with a unique voice.

Howl was a pretty good werewolf story, it had great characters and the story flowed nicely. Angel Clark as usual does a nice job of narrating. I received this audiobook for free through FABC and this is a voluntary review.

This isn't that bad, but it's too short. The main character isn't developed enough, and his investigation seems way too quick.

The story has a nice twist at the end, but it would have been far better if more time were spent on character development. It loses a lot of power because you never truly get invested in anyone involved.

The narrator does a well enough job, but lacks a little emotion. That's not to say they are robotic, but some scenes could have used more passion in delivery.

This isn't a bad book or narration, it's just kind of there.

Too short. Would be better as a novella.
