I've seen her on TV, of course, but I'd never listened to her reading an audiobook. I love her accent.Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You don't need to be a fan of Joan's to enjoy the book, but it's important to know that this is by no means a politically correct essay and might offend some people. Also, you would need to be immersed in pop culture and also be familiar with celebrities from past decades to fully appreciate the humor.Loved it!
