The storyline was good, this poor girl endured horrific abuse. however they used virtual voice for this one and if you can get past the very monotone sounding voice is a good story.

I was not a fan of the narration by AI. Emphasis was often put in the wrong place. The story however was good.

First of all this AI narration is terrible. It's so monotone and has no feelings in the reading at all. This book shows the power and hard work it takes to make generational changes in our lives. It shows how flawed the system is and once in the system how it follows you. How change is possible only through hard work and perseverance. It shows how life throws curve balls at us just when we think we have it all together but you just have to keep going and make the best decisions for you and your family. None of which is easy. Definitely recommend but I will say this is not an easy read. The abuse and murder of children is very graphic in the beginning.
