Friendships and family abound during a week of love, laughter, and happily-ever-afters.

Catch up with your favorite characters and enjoy Bones and Sarah’s wedding, while falling in love with the newest Whiskey-world couple: Penny Wilson and Scott Beckley, in this Whiskey series novella.

When everything you want is right in front of you, but it's still out of reach....

Penny Wilson has a successful business, more friends than a girl could ask for, and a boyfriend she’s madly and passionately in love with. Scott Beckley is honest, loyal, hands down the best lover on the planet, and absolutely gaga over his nieces and nephews. Scott’s a keeper...as long as Penny doesn’t ever want to hear those three magical words that would take their relationship to the next level. Scott escaped abusive parents at 17, and was forced to find his way alone in the world. Even though it’s been more than a decade and he’s reunited with his estranged sisters and built a good life in Peaceful Harbor, Maryland, he’s still tortured by his past. Penny knows he loves her with everything he has, but for a girl who wants a family and a guy who is afraid of having one, love might not be enough.

The Whiskeys are perfect stories to enjoy at the beach, with depth of character, strong family ties, and a wealth of emotions. Small-town love stories with happily-ever-afters guaranteed.

His is a good story. The author missed out by not wrapping tiny Tyrese two a full length book. Female narrator was good. I’m not a fan of male narrator. The way reads in flat and dull. He reads like you would an instruction manual.

Wish it was a full book. Great story

I absolutely loved it! Although this book was a quick read, it didn't lack entertainment or emotions! The narration was great. The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. I look forward to reading more books this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

In for a Penny was a quick listen but it still packed a mighty punch. This is Penny and Scott’s story and we have net them before in The Gritty Truth but that being said I believe this novella can certainly be read or listened to as a stand-alone.
The narration team of Ava Erickson and Tor Thom did a wonderful job and they really brought the characters and their story to life. They were easy to listen to and they hit all the feels that this quick story is full off.
Penny owns the ice cream parlour in Peaceful Harbor and life is looking good but deep down she is scared it’s all too good to be true and she is going to lose it all.

Quick listen with great narration and a great story

Perfect addition to the Whiskey (Love In Bloom) series...

Penny and Scott were there in the background. They were that couple you could see love shine around. They were the couple you could see having that more. It was then seeing it In themselves that was the test. On pin and needles this was a challenge. Penny and to know she deserved more but she needed to speak up. Scott had to believe in himself that he was not the monster he knew his own father to be. Life had something bigger and more in store for him and his life with Penny.

I thought it was a beautiful addition to the Whiskeys series of Peaceful Harbor. Scott we got to meet a few books back with his sisters and their initiation to the Whiskey clan. This was a quickie romance that had a few surprises. Maybe a few tears.

Tor and Ava brought these characters right off the pages and vividly into your mind. Melissa Foster as usually brought the love another couple and the friends and family that support them.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Realistic Wonderful characters Easy-to-read Entertaining Perfect addition to series Family Friends Love

This is a sweet novella that gives a picture of Scott’s life and his relationship with Penny. It’s short, sweet, sexy and powerful. I’m so happy that Scott and Penny get their HEA.

Short and sweet.
