Yes this is a great series and this wonderful story I just listened to was fulfilling and I am definitely happy with this one!!! JFH has this wonderful way with his words and narrations and his passion, angst, sexiness and magic (whoosh) stay with me and I start looking for another of his books. K. C. Sheridan's narration was wonderful too. The author did a fantastic job with Jack's journey as he lived thru pain, his demons, sadness and addictions. Katie was his perfect match. I loved her strength and vulnerability. No fluff here....so glad I selected this one.

INDECENT EXPOSURE is another stellar romance from author Tessa Bailey. When deeply flawed police recruit Jack Garrett is gobsmacked on a New York sidewalk by a stunning red head with an Irish brogue, he soon finds that he will do just about anything to deserve her. But with the tragedy in her past and the disturbing incident in his, can the two of them find a way to love one another and stay together?
Great narration by JF Harding and K.C. Sheridan.

Nice read. Quickly began rooting for Katie and Jack. Not my favorite Tessa Bailey book but I would definitely recommend it. Sweet and spicy story!

Jack grew up poor, his mom a sex worker because she had to make ends meet. He developed alcoholism at age 18, to get over a traumatic event (and it wasn't even his mom's occupation!). He's pretty much a mess when Katie from Ireland comes along, a tourist in Hells Kitchen, where he grew up. She actually sees a person, under the façade of his promiscuous persona. All he knows is that she's different from the other girls who like him, and he's almost confused that she doesn't want him for the sex. He doesn't know why but he likes that about her. Then the next day, she walks in to his police academy classroom as the firearms/marksmanship trainer for his class.

I enjoyed these two characters and their love story. Wouldn't mind spending a lot more time with them. Jack in particular is pretty dang swoony, with how much he works toward being a better man for her, and how humble he is in his heart. He is PLENTY masculine in his manner to the outside world, but in his inner heart he has zero arrogance. Guess I really like that.

Katie happens to be a virgin, so she's shy about sex, but she's an emotionally strong young woman. When she has insecurities, she faces them with honesty. Her most excellent skill: rifle marksmanship (biathlon I assume). In fact she's Olympic champion. Go figure.

Female reader had excellent male voice (❤️!) but her female voice w Irish accent was strangely grating. Not TOO big a deal. Male reader was great.
