A small town murder hides a dark secret....

I was totally caught off guard by how awesome this book was! Both of them were a surprise because when you start it doesn’t feel like they are going any where and then…. Surprise! Good books

As much as I wish there were more in this about what the find out near the end, it was a good story. I liked it and I’m glad I read it. I like mystery so it was good .
The narrator was new to me and some of his voices were a bit odd, but I would listen to him again.

Influencing Justice by Peter Kirkland is an excellent small town Lawyer thriller. J. J. Hosenfeld did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, thrilling, interesting, suspenseful, courtroom drama, and more. When an influencer says from a small town lawyer to defend her. The lawyer wants to say no but with no new clients coming through the door he takes the case. What he thought was cut and dried is anything but. What will happen? Listen to find out. Liked the story line, narrator fur the lead character Leland was good, but whom ever narrated for the coroner, Terry, Simon’s mother, and a few other men and women - they’re voices were whinny, very unflattering , irritating and very hard to listen to. Won’t listen to books narrated by these folks again.

Good story line - but the narrators could be upgraded!
