Ara

Revenge was meant to be sweet.

Instead, I've drawn the attention of a monster.

I'm at his mercy.

He knows my secret. But only part of it.

Time is ticking, and only one of us is going to walk out of this alive.

Luca

Ara is my stalker, but I've become obsessed.

She has more curves and beauty than she has a right to.

I'm going to break her.

I want to cut open and figure out that brilliant mind of hers.

Especially when I suspect she's trying to underhand everything I've built.

This is an enemies-to-lovers, mafia, dark romance standalone.

Dark mafia romance with family trauma and major revenge themes. Ara is a strong female character who ultimately gets exactly what she wants (as well as the unlikely “hero”) through obsession, dedication and hard work. I loved this book.

Brandon Francis is perfection as mafia king Luca.

The murder of her mother painted her life with the work to find the killer. Wonderful word building between the characters and very intriguing storyline.

A dark, addictive stalker vs stalker dynamic. Ara is out for revenge after her mother’s murder, and when Luca catches her stalking him, he turns the tables in the most unhinged way. He calls himself a “cinnamon roll,” which is hilarious because he’s only soft for Ara his little stalker and he can’t bring himself to end her, even when he should.
The plot had some expected turns, but I still enjoyed every moment. And the narration? A perfect 10/10. Chloe Ryan and Brandon Francis brought the tension and obsession to life beautifully.

Stalker v. Stalker

Hot read. Great story. Feel like I need a cigarette after that. Now to the next in the series.

Hot hot hot

I didn't get the sense of falling in love, it was at the end and seemed super rushed. It dragged throughout and had too much nonsense in between. I didn't enjoy this book.

This had the potential but the build up was weak.
