I don't know what I expected but it's safe to say this book missed the mark.
I repeatedly had a hard time believing it was an AI, not that it passed the Turing Test, more like the slightly more complicated answers were either a human restructuring their own response to sound more AI-ish or embellishing (tweaking?) the AI's to make the point the interviewer wanted.
IDK, maybe it's real and I have no intelligence, artificial or otherwise.
