For 15 years, Libby Anderson tried to appear normal, and her Aunt Ruth sought to keep her from the fate suffered by her biological mother. But Ruth is brutally killed, and Libby's unique gift is discovered. Libby must then run for her life and elude a ruthless tech mogul, a relentless supercomputer, and a vicious assassin. They are all after one thing—Libby's intuition.

As she runs from her pursuers, Libby must search for the father she never met, who may have the answer to the threats she faces.

This book was totally captivating. It had a complicated plot that was easy to follow, great character development and unlike other books that have people make stupid decisions that heighten drama and suspense, the author achieved all this while the characters made good strategic decisions!

Great Read!!

I know the author, so I might be considered biased, but my review is not. While this novel may be classified as a techno-thriller, this reminds me more of the novels of Robert Heinlein. Heinlein was famous for intricate plotting, where every scene had a purpose, the narrative was tightly written, and the characters were smart and emotionally engaging. The same is true with Intuition. The AI theme is certainly timely, but I found all the characters, both evil and good, well drawn and fun to imagine, particularly the main character, Libby, and the two main villains. The novel also appeals to those who enjoy intellectual problems and puzzles that are sprinkled throughout the novel. The main character, Libby, has “intuition“ and thereby the capacity to ferret out solutions to problems and puzzles that stymie others—a super smart but likable hero. The ending is satisfying and wraps up most every plot point in a clever manner. The narration is also top notch; I recognize her from other audiobooks and she is among the best out there.

A great summer read!
