From New York Times best-seller Cristin Harber comes a new stand-alone romantic suspense novel.

Seven Blackburn is an enigma. A motorcycle club princess and the daughter of a notorious gangster. She's a straight-shooting single mom dead set on ridding a powerful motorcycle club of their South American drug cartel connection. But not all players are ready for the game to change, including the one she can’t see: the CIA.

Jax Michaelson has a bad attitude but a good shot. The former Navy SEAL has been on Titan’s problem list since he showed up for work. Call him cocky. That’s fine, because then you’d have to admit he’s the best at everything. Except diplomacy.

Seven becomes an unexpected bargaining chip, and Titan is forced deeper into the seedy world drug cartel glitz.

Can Jax be the hero Seven needs when a life as Mayhem motorcycle club princess backfires and her children disappear?

Jax is a stand-alone romantic suspense novel by New York Times best-selling author Cristin Harber. It features characters from the Titan, Delta, and Only series, but listeners do not have to have listen to those audiobooks to enjoy this one. There's a guaranteed happily ever after and no cliff-hanger! Enjoy!

Whoohoo!! I listened to ALL of this series. Very good. My first with this author. It won't be my last. The narrator, Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job of narrating. He also narrates all of this series. Which I liked. Enjoy! 😁

This book is the last in the Titan series which may have contributed to the fact that it ran out of steam for me. Not sure if it's because I've listened to the 12 previous books and was a little worn out with the "warrior" type men with brash biker babes who give in to caveman antics or if it was because the end of this one petered out, leaving nothing to look forward to---in other words, it left you hanging with no "next in the series".

I gave it 4 stars because I loved this series and narrator Jeffrey Kafer. Once I got used to monotone-like growl that seems to be the norm for warrior-type heros, I stopped listening to his gruff, deep voice and started listening to the story. I had no problem keeping up with his portrayal of the heroine and other females as well the kids.

In this series, the reader/listener is taken out of mundane every day life and transported to exciting situations that we can only imagine. Not that I'd like to have my kids kidnapped but you get the gist.

Good story that ran out of steam

It took me a bit to get into this story only because the story line was a lot like my home life as a young child. My Dad rode with a gang, he was known as the enforcer. The first vehicle I remember being in/on was his Harley much to my mothers displeasure. I was four and by the time I was five to six he'd gone to be with his other family and gang. So this book brought back good childhood memories and a few no so good, but I've still enjoyed the store and the detail. And who knows if my Dad had been more like Jax-well who knows maybe I won't be more like Seven, trying to make sure everyone else is taken care of. Altho, sometimes you find your man that fills in the crack in your heart, and it all works out the was it should.

I really enjoyed this series. I was slightly distracted while reading this book feeling like I was missing too many backstories on some of the characters. A little disappointed to not have those before reading this book.
