I loved this story from an author that is a go to for me. I’ll admit this is one of her first but I think one of her best. Jordan is recovering from so many things that I can’t even fathom how she handling it all. Her two boys when they should be kids find themselves worrying about things they shouldn’t have to. Her month Long Beach getaway is everything they need and everything they didn’t know they needed. Rob is a blast from her past and totally unexpected but so welcome. Her walls are large because of past mistakes but Rob can be persistent. I adore Rob and his male cluelessness. I loved Jordan and her ability to love again. I really loved her boys who care deeply for their mother and the man who completes them.
