Loved the ending! This book was a page turner for me! I loved the realness of the main character, Marcus. The story was believable but rarely reflected in the traditional stories in America. The Black man usually is inevitable killed. But, this time the real killers got their due! Although a fictional criminal mystery, it was refreshing to read a perspective of addressing a not so fictional phenomenon of African trauma here in America. I’ll gladly read another book by Toni Larue!
