Now it is the perfect book to introduce autism to my daughter. (She has some autism friends' behavior is quite similar to the character). It also took me some time to explain lots of behaviors are wrong (the mean boy, the price tag girl, and other snobby kids.

My husband and I had some reservations about the Junie B Jones books at first due to some of the words she says and things she does. Our daughter seems to be able to k ow the difference between what we think is acceptable and what Junie B does.my 1st grader loves it
