The main character was reminiscent of a Jack Reacher type of hero, as he uncovers clues and beats up a-holes as he helps a mother search for her missing teenage daughter. The sex and violence are disturbing, and the hero dispensing justice is cathartic. This novel isn’t as well crafted as similar books, but it’s still quite an enjoyable read/listen.
