Len Vincenti has a wealth of life experiences. Len received a B.A. from the University of Florida with a degree in English literature and creative writing. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an ensign in the U.S. Navy, where he served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a naval advisor to a squadron of Vietnamese Navy river minesweeping boats. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. Upon discharge from active duty, he attended Stetson University College of Law in Florida. He was a board-certified civil trial lawyer in Clearwater, Florida for over four decades until his retirement. He is an avid sailor, fisherman, accomplished glass artist, contemporary painter, and world traveler.
Len is an avid fan of Florida-themed thriller fiction, as is masterly exemplified by John D. McDonald and his many subsequent, popular author-devotees. His Nick Sanchez Thriller Series combines his many and varied life experiences through fictional Florida lawyer, sailor, and independent-minded adventurer, Nick Sanchez.
He lives in Dunedin, Florida with his wife Laura, herself an accomplished artist.
