i love her writing but the sex was a bit too much. sometimes less is more. it was like the story didnt really get going until a few chapters past the smut. there is a thin line between steamy and pointless sex. it was nice to hear of Bones again. i love the readers.

Penelope Sky is such a great writer! I didn’t even realize this book is 23 years old. The dynamic between the MCs is electric, but the depths of the pissing contest between Grave & Cauldron is next level. I didn’t expect the ending & I felt for Camille & the hurt by Cauldron betraying her honest love.

As far as the narration, the female narrator was superb, but I always struggle with this particular male narrator as he sounds so much older than the characters he plays and in my opinion, does not come across as hot as the character is described.

I loved this book!! I was happy to hear the inclusion of characters from other series because I miss them too. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Another great story. But heads up it’s a trilogy with a huge cliffhanger. Also, the female narrator was horrible but the male narrator was good. The female narrator sounded angry with a valley girl twist that didn’t match the character. I’ve decided to read the next book.
