A small town under martial law. But one man makes his own rules.

Army veteran Mason Sharpe has been laying low in Prairie Junction, Iowa. Working a steady job, enjoying the quiet life.

Then all hell breaks loose when a swarm of National Guard choppers descend on the town.

Soldiers in hazmat suits enforce a strict lockdown. Roadblocks go up. Martial law kicks in. Everyone’s ordered to stay inside. No questions, no answers.

But when Mason sees a local man murdered by soldiers, he knows something is very, very wrong.

Joining forces with an old flame, Dr. Evelyn Landry, Mason will do whatever it takes to find out why this little town has been cut off from the outside world.

And if the situation escalates? Well, Mason will escalate right along with it. All the way to Lethal Action.

Lethal Action–book nine of the stunning Mason Sharpe action thriller series. Perfect for fans of Lee Child, Jason Kasper, and David Archer.

… in this series. I’m not exactly sure which book number this one is because this series really doesn’t need to be listened to in order. I would suggest listening to book One first for background. After that it’s up to you.
This is an OUTSTANDING series and got me hooked on Logan Ryles books (but this series remains my favorite!).
This book revolves around homegrown terror and how a town in the middle of nowhere can be taken hostage. Lucky for the residents Mason Sharpe was temporarily calling it home. He realized before anyone else that the goings on were not the way things are done in the United States.

Andy Ingalls does an Outstanding job narrating.

This book has my Very HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!
