A sensational case. Dark motives. Deadly secrets.

When Judge Samuel Chesterfield is found murdered in his chambers during a high-stakes wrongful death trial against a prominent abortionist, suspicion immediately falls on the only four people who had access: the trial lawyers. At the center of the storm is Edward Mead—a brilliant, 77-year-old legal scholar still reeling from the death of his wife.

Appointed special prosecutor, Mead must navigate a labyrinth of corruption, deceit, and danger that threatens both his mind and his life.

FBI Special Agent Sarah Riehl is desperate to prove herself in a system that’s kept her sidelined. But her relentless pursuit of justice leads her into a deadly game where the hunter becomes the hunted—and the truth could get her killed.

Lethal Objection is a gripping legal thriller packed with courtroom intrigue, moral complexity, and nail-biting suspense. For fans of John Grisham, Robert Whitlow, and Agatha Christie.

Great story and very morally thought provoking. Kept me thinking. Definitely recommend it to all.

Nothing at all. I love the way they made sure for the Lord Christ to be such a large part of this story.

I love the Christian viewpoint in these books!

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Maybe a little too much "legal jargon", but that was to be expected according to the title. Will definitely be listening to more by Michael Swiger.

Great pace, story, narrator. Harsh and sad details around the medical procedures and what can go wrong. Loved the character of Professor Mead. Look forward to listening to more books by this author and narrator.

Throwing Gods name in there a 5 to 6 times does not make it Christian. It was super hard to listen to. I understand we are dealing with murders but one of the vile things came out of the mouth of the detectives husband. Also a " Christians" book does not need any profanity, not even 1 word. To the authors credit it was a interesting story especially hearing about about what abortion does not only to the babies 😢 but the mother. I also never thought of people having to look at the dead bodies of the babies daily to dispose of them. How can that not kill something inside you!

Classifying it as Christians is a stretch
